Ablative Laser skin resurfacing removes skin layer by layer with precision. The new skin cells that form during healing give the skin a tighter, younger looking surface. The procedure can be done alone or combined with other energy-based devices. We use the laser to send short, concentrated pulsating beams of light at irregular skin. This removes unwanted, damaged skin in a very precise manner one layer at a time. Ablative lasers are usually done only one time every 2-3 years with great results, but more downtime (7-10 days) compared to non-ablatives laser treatments.
