Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin, can be used to help with facial balancing by relaxing specific muscles in the face. When certain muscles are overactive, they can cause the face to appear imbalanced or asymmetrical.

• Gummy Smile: Neurotoxins, such as Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, can be used to help with a gummy smile by relaxing the muscles that elevate the upper lip. By injecting neurotoxins into the muscles that elevate the upper lip, these muscles are temporarily weakened, which can reduce the amount of gum tissue that is exposed when smiling. This can create a more balanced, aesthetically pleasing smile.
• Jaw Line: Neurotoxin injections in the masseter muscles can help with facial slimming by temporarily reducing the size and strength of these muscles, which are responsible for chewing and clenching the jaw. When these muscles are overactive, they can cause the jawline to appear square or bulky, creating a wider or more masculine appearance. Over time, the reduced activity of the masseter muscles can lead to a decrease in their size and bulk, resulting in a slenderer and more contoured jawline.
• Downturned Smile: Neurotoxin injections around the mouth can relax the muscles used to frown. This results in lifting the corners of the mouth to reduce the appearance of a downturned smile. (About 6 u Botox or 18u Dysport needed)
• Brow Lift: When Neurotoxins are injected into the muscle that pulls down the eyebrows, resulting in a slight elevation of the eyebrow area. This is known as a brow lift, creating a lifting effect for a more youthful look. (About 30 units Botox or 90 u Dysport needed)
• Nefertiti Neck Lift: Neurotoxin can be injected to the platysma band of the neck relaxing the neck muscle creating a smoother, younger looking neck. (About 40 units Botox or 120u Dysport needed)
• Lip Flip: Neurotoxin to the upper lip helps to relax the muscle in the upper lip causing the lip to evert and giving the appearance of a fuller upper lips. (About 8 units Botox or 24 u Dysport needed).

Dermal fillers can help with facial balancing by adding volume to specific areas of the face that may appear sunken or hollow due to aging or genetics. By adding volume to these areas, dermal fillers can create a more balanced and symmetrical appearance.

Dermal fillers are classified in 2 groups.

A: Hyaluronic Acid fillers (HA fillers ): HA is a substance that is naturally found in the body and helps to hydrate and plump the skin. As we age, we lose this component of our skin results in fold and shadows. When injected into the skin, hyaluronic acid fillers can add volume and smooth out wrinkles and lines, resulting in a more balanced and youthful appearance. HA fillers used in US are Juvéderm, Voluma, Restylane, Versa and Belotero. HA fillers can be reversed with a simple injection of hyaluronidase enzymes, 

B: Biostimulatory fillers such as Radiesse, Sculptra, add an instant volume plus stimulating collagen giving skin more of the support and strength.
